These drawings where from my character design project. The character was based upon a World War II paratrooper, 101st airborne devision, Easy company. The same as those founds Band of Brothers.
My character is based on a real life historical figure, Buck Compton. He was renowned for his large stature and his strong jaw. This is a Break down of the character design process i went through. I Started by developing a silhouette of my character to ensure he was recognizable. I then developed the character from the skin out. developing the detail and layers, taking into account markings etc. I then added colour to uniform and markings. I also attempted to design the skeletal structure of the machete.
